Bulgari Heart Diamond Ring

I was browsing Bulgari”s site (like the trend of high-end jewelers introducing e-commerce!), and I came across this heart-cut diamond ring. Tacky and a bit childish, no? I can imagine this being a cute gesture if it were an over-the-top, fun costume bracelets piece, but a $20,000-plus diamond – eeck – give me a round or an emerald cut diamond, please! That said, couldn”t you really see someone like Mariah Carey going gaga over this piece?? Bulgari is known for using the heart motif honestly frequently and while even on a necklace I”m not a fan, the ring just takes it to a new level in my opinion. What do you reckon? Snob or Slob?
